Who makes SPKR HQ
SPKR HQ is made and owned by Sp3akR Software, the Netherlands. It is free to use. Contact: [email protected].
SPKR HQ is made with a mix of personal coding and help from AI tools. Every version is checked and tested before it is released, but software can still contain mistakes.
Using SPKR HQ
By installing or using SPKR HQ you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use SPKR HQ.
- SPKR HQ is free for personal use. You may not sell, rent or repackage it, remove its notices, or copy, decompile or change it, except where the law allows that.
- You are responsible for what you stream, say, send and upload with SPKR HQ (streams, TALKIE chats, pictures), for having the right to share it, and for following the rules of the platforms you use (such as Twitch, YouTube, Discord or Kick).
- Sp3akR Software may change, pause or stop SPKR HQ, its website and its services (accounts, TALKIE, the streaming site) at any time, and may block accounts that break these terms or the law.
- SPKR HQ updates itself. You can switch automatic updates off in Settings.
No warranty
SPKR HQ, its website and its services are provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty, express or implied. There is no promise that they work without errors or interruptions, suit a particular purpose, or never affect your PC, your data or your accounts.
Parts of SPKR HQ change how Windows runs things: pinning games to CPU cores, the Check-up fixes, the CPU temperature helper with AMD's driver, and driver or BIOS advice. You use them at your own risk. Keep backups of what matters to you.
Liability
As far as the law allows, Sp3akR Software is not liable for any damage or loss from using SPKR HQ, its website or its services, or from not being able to use them. This includes lost data, lost game progress, lost or blocked accounts on other platforms, hardware damage, an unstable system, and lost income or profit, whether direct or indirect.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer that cannot be waived.
Other services
SPKR HQ connects you to services that Sp3akR Software does not own or control. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to what you do there. Sp3akR Software is not responsible for these services, for their availability, or for what they do with your data.
- Discord: the DISCORD tab opens Discord's own website (discord.com) inside SPKR HQ, the way a browser does. You sign in with Discord directly. Sp3akR Software never sees your Discord password, your messages or your data, and what Discord does with your data is Discord's choice, under Discord's terms and privacy policy. SPKR HQ can hide some parts of that page, change its colours on your screen, and press Discord's own keyboard shortcuts for you. Discord's rules may count any change to how its app looks or works as a violation: you use these options at your own risk, and Sp3akR Software is not responsible for anything Discord does with your account.
- Twitch, YouTube and servers you add yourself (such as Kick or Facebook): your sign-ins and stream keys are kept encrypted on your PC and are only sent to that service.
- Other parts made by others, each under its own licence: AMD's Ryzen Master Monitoring SDK and driver (the CPU temperature), FFmpeg (streaming, GPL, downloaded once from sp3akr.com), RNNoise (noise suppression, BSD), Intel PresentMon (the FPS overlay's frame numbers, MIT), the HVD Poster fonts (see Fonts), Microsoft Edge WebView2, and game pictures from Steam and Epic Games.
- Names and trademarks belong to their owners. SPKR HQ is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by Discord, Twitch, YouTube, AMD, NVIDIA, Microsoft, Valve or Epic Games.
Fonts
The animated backgrounds of the Stream studio use the typefaces HVD Poster and HVD Poster Clean. This typeface is Copyright 2008 Hannes von Döhren (HVD Fonts, www.hvdfonts.com). It comes with SPKR HQ unchanged, under its own licence:
- This typeface may not be modified in any way.
- Neither the Font Software nor any of its individual components, in Original or Modified Versions, may be sold by itself. Original or Modified Versions of the Font Software may be bundled, redistributed and/or sold with any software, provided that each copy contains the above copyright notice and this license.
- HVD Fonts is not liable for any damage resulting from the use of this typeface.
- This typeface is free for personal use.

Privacy
SPKR HQ has no telemetry, no analytics, no tracking and no advertising. It does not collect information about you or your PC.
- On your PC only: your settings, games list, studio scenes, logs and sign-ins (stream keys and sign-in tokens are encrypted by Windows for your user account). None of this is sent to Sp3akR Software.
- On Sp3akR Software's server, and only when you use these features: your SPKR HQ account (email address, username and a scrambled form of your password, never the password itself); your stream while you stream on hq.sp3akr.com; and in TALKIE the messages, pictures, friends, servers and rooms you make there, kept so the service works.
- Feedback, only when you choose to send it (Settings, FEEDBACK): your message, your email address, your username if you are signed in, and the version of SPKR HQ. It is mailed to Sp3akR Software and kept to deal with it, at most two years.
- Like any website, sp3akr.com and hq.sp3akr.com see your IP address and the app's version when SPKR HQ checks for updates, downloads FFmpeg or connects. This is only used to deliver the service and keep it safe.
- Your data is never sold, never shared with others and never used for advertising. It is only handed over when the law requires it.
- Your rights under the GDPR (AVG): you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to delete your account, by mailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes and law
These terms can change. The newest version is always in the app (Settings, LEGAL) and at sp3akr.com/legal. If you keep using SPKR HQ after a change, you accept the new version.
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law gives you, as a consumer, the right to go to a court where you live.
