Everything in one place

One app instead of a stack

A chat app, a streaming program, an alerts service and a few tuning tools: most gamers juggle them all. SPKR HQ puts them in one window, made to work together.

TALKIE

Your own servers. Your crew. No subscription.

TALKIE is the chat and voice part of SPKR HQ. Make a server for your group, add text and voice rooms, and talk while you play with a microphone that behaves.

  • Servers with your own name and picture, text rooms and voice rooms
  • Clear voice with echo cancelling, noise removal and a noise gate you set on a live meter
  • Mute and deafen keys that work inside full-screen games
  • Friends, direct messages, pictures, pasted screenshots and emoji
  • Private rooms that only the people you pick can see
  • See what everybody is playing, with a LIVE mark when they stream
  • Voice goes through our own server and is never recorded

Phone and web

TALKIE goes where you go

Not at your PC? Your servers, chat rooms and voice rooms are on your phone and in any browser too, with the same free SPKR HQ account. Your friends don't need the Windows app to join you.

New · Android app

TALKIE for Android

TALKIE as a real app on your phone. It's small and free, and it does what a browser tab can't.

  • The voice room keeps going when you lock your phone or switch apps
  • Mute and Leave right in the notification
  • Sound on the loudspeaker, or on your headset (wired, USB-C or Bluetooth) the moment you connect it
  • A notice for new messages, friend requests and invites
  • Invite links open straight in the app, and the app tells you when there's an update

SPKR HQ WEB

Open hq.sp3akr.com in any browser, on a PC, a laptop at work or a friend's phone.

  • TALKIE with chat, voice rooms, friends and direct messages
  • Pop it out into a small window that stays on top of everything in Chrome and Edge
  • A phone layout, and you can add it to your home screen
  • All live streams from the community, and you can go live from the browser
Open the web version iPhone: use Safari for now; the voice stops when the screen locks. An iPhone app comes later.

The stream studio, the DISCORD tab, game pinning and the Check-up are in the Windows app only.

Go live for friends

Show your game in up to 4K. For free.

Press Go live in a voice room and everybody in that room watches your game, sharp and smooth, without a paid upgrade. Nothing goes to a website and there is no link to leak: when you leave the room, the stream ends.

  • 720p up to 4K, ultrawide 21:9 and 32:9, 30 or 60 fps, the bitrate you want
  • Encoded on your graphics card (NVIDIA NVENC), so the game keeps its frame rate. Or x264 on the CPU cores you pick
  • Several friends can stream in one room: one big picture, or side by side
  • Game sound without the voice chat, so nobody hears themselves a second later
  • Capture just the game window, so your desktop and notifications stay private

Everybody in the server sees who is LIVE. One click joins the room to watch.

Stream studio

A complete stream studio. Already inside.

No separate streaming program to set up. The Stream page is a real studio with scenes, layers and a mixer. It runs on its own, so your game stays fast.

Scenes and transitions

Gameplay, Starting soon and Be right back are ready for you. Switch with a fade or a cut, and drag, resize and crop layers right on the picture.

Every source you need

The running game (found by itself), a monitor, any window, your webcam with green screen, video files, pictures, text and web overlays.

Studio-grade sound

A mixer with meters, RNNoise noise suppression, noise gate, equalizer, compressor and limiter, with presets for a clear voice.

Alerts and chat, no extra account

Built-in alerts for Twitch follows, subs, gifted subs, bits and raids, and your Twitch chat on stream. StreamElements and Streamlabs widgets work too.

Settings per destination

Every place you stream to keeps its own resolution, frame rate, bitrate and CBR or VBR, ultrawide included. Your scenes adapt to the shape.

Made on the GPU

The picture is built on the graphics card and goes straight into NVENC: H.264, HEVC, or AV1 on cards that have it. Or x264 on the cores you choose.

Go live anywhere

One click to Twitch, YouTube or Kick. Or your own channel.

Connect Twitch with a code: SPKR HQ fetches your stream key and sets your title and the game you play. Paste a YouTube key once. Add Kick, Facebook, Trovo or any RTMP server yourself.

Or use your free channel on hq.sp3akr.com: anyone can watch in a browser without an account, and friends can co-stream right next to you.

DISCORD tab

Keep Discord. Lose the clutter.

Friends still on Discord? No problem. The DISCORD tab runs Discord's own web app inside SPKR HQ, so you don't need Discord's desktop app next to it.

  • You sign in on Discord's own page. SPKR HQ never sees your password
  • The download banner, Nitro, Shop, Quests and gift buttons are hidden
  • Calls keep going on every page, with their own slider in the studio
  • Your mute, deafen and push-to-talk keys work inside games
  • Messages and calls arrive as notifications, also from the tray

Discord's own terms apply to your Discord account. See Legal.

Starts quietly

DISCORD opens in the background with SPKR HQ, so messages come in without opening it.

Your own shortcuts

Answer a call, jump channels or servers, mark as read: keys that work everywhere.

Your own looks

Colour styles for Discord that only change what you see on your screen.

Or switch it off

Don't use Discord, or TALKIE? One switch in Settings removes the button.

GAMESX3D and Check-up

Your games, faster.

On a Ryzen 7950X3D, 7900X3D, 9950X3D or 9900X3D only one of the two dies has the 3D V-Cache that makes games fast. AMD's driver only steers games it recognises, so new titles and playtests regularly land on the wrong one. SPKR HQ keeps every game on the right die, every launch, and shows you the proof.

  • Automatic pinning to the V-Cache die, re-checked constantly. One switch gives a game all cores back
  • Two-die Ryzen without V-Cache (5900X up to 9950X) keeps games on one die, without the hop between dies
  • Your library from Steam, Epic, Xbox, Ubisoft, EA and Rockstar, with artwork and play time
  • Live numbers for every core and both dies, GPU load and temperature, VRAM, an optional CPU temperature, and a plain verdict
  • Check-up for the Windows settings with a measured effect on games, with Fix and Undo. No registry snake oil
  • Driver and BIOS notices with a link to the maker's own page. Nothing is installed for you

On any other processor, Intel included, everything except the pinning works.

Free, without a catch

No ads. No tracking. Nothing sold.

SPKR HQ is made by Sp3akR Software in the Netherlands: one developer, with help from AI. It started as a tool for our own gaming group and grew from there. It is free, and it stays honest about your data.

No ads

No banners, no sponsored anything, no paid tier to unlock the good stuff.

No tracking

No telemetry and no analytics. Your settings and games list stay on your PC.

Never sold

Your data is never sold, never shared and never used for advertising.

Our own server

Voice and streams go through our own server and are never recorded.

Exactly what is stored, and where: Legal and privacy. How every part is built, from the stream engine to the server: SPKR HQ In Depth (also as PDF).

Make it yours

Ten colour themes. The whole window changes at once, TALKIE included.

Updates itself, politely

New versions come in the background and wait while you stream or sit in a voice room. You never lose a session to an update.

Lives in the tray

Starts with Windows, keeps your games pinned with the window closed, and opens on the screen and at the size you left it.

Good to know

Honest notes

  • SPKR HQ is young and updates often. It is Windows 11 only: no phone app and no browser version of TALKIE yet. Public streams on hq.sp3akr.com play in any browser.
  • A voice room holds 25 people, a server 50, and four people can stream in one room at the same time.
  • Streaming on an AMD graphics card is offered but has not been tested on a real Radeon yet. CPU encoding works with any card.
  • Push-to-talk inside games for TALKIE is next on the list.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is SPKR HQ really free?

Yes. There is no paid tier, no subscription, no ads and nothing to unlock. Streaming to friends in up to 4K at 60 fps is free for everybody.

Do my friends need SPKR HQ too?

No. They need a free account on hq.sp3akr.com, and can then join your TALKIE voice rooms and chat from SPKR HQ for Windows, from the Android app or from the web version in any browser. Public streams on hq.sp3akr.com can be watched in any browser without an account.

Is there a phone app?

Yes, for Android: TALKIE for Android. It keeps your voice room going with the screen locked and uses your headset when you connect one. It isn't in Google Play yet, so Android asks once whether your browser may install it. An iPhone app comes later; until then TALKIE works in Safari at hq.sp3akr.com.

Can I keep using Discord?

Yes. The DISCORD tab runs Discord's own web app inside SPKR HQ, so you can talk with your Discord friends and your TALKIE friends from one app. If you don't use Discord, switch the tab off in Settings.

Can I stream to Twitch, YouTube or Kick?

Yes, from the built-in studio. Twitch connects with a code and fills in your title and game. YouTube and Kick work with your stream key, and so does any other RTMP or RTMPS server. Every destination keeps its own quality settings.

Do I need a strong PC or an NVIDIA card?

TALKIE and the DISCORD tab run on any Windows 11 PC. Streaming on the graphics card uses NVIDIA NVENC, so the game keeps its frame rate; without an NVIDIA card, x264 streams on the CPU cores you pick. Pinning games needs a two-die AMD Ryzen, and everything else works on any processor, Intel included.

Why does Windows warn me when I install it?

The installer is not signed with a paid certificate, so SmartScreen does not know it yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. You can compare the file with the SHA-256 in the download section to be sure you have the real one.

What happens with my data?

Nothing you did not ask for. Your settings and games list stay on your PC. Your account, TALKIE messages and your stream while you stream are on our own server. There is no tracking and nothing is sold. The details are in Legal and privacy.

How do updates work?

SPKR HQ fetches and checks new versions in the background and installs them when it suits you, never during a stream or a voice call. Once installed, the app keeps itself on the newest version.

Before you install

  • SmartScreen will warn you. The installer is not signed with a paid certificate. Click More info, then Run anyway. Compare the SHA-256 above if you want to be sure of what you got.
  • It touches games from outside. Setting a process's affinity is the same thing Task Manager does. Nothing is injected into a game. If a game refuses, its card says so and the app stops trying.
  • A hard pin is a choice. Most games gain from staying on the V-Cache die. A few heavy titles want every core; the switch on each game is there for exactly that.
  • Two folders. The program is one file in %LOCALAPPDATA%\SPKR\SPKRHQ. Your settings are one file too, SPKRHQ.db, in %LOCALAPPDATA%\SPKR\SPKRHQSettings: games list, stream and studio settings and sign-ins (stream keys encrypted by Windows). Next to it: Browser (the sign-ins of TALKIE and DISCORD), Media (pictures you add to the studio), Cache, Logs, and Backup with a copy of your settings from each of the last three days. Your chats, friends and pictures live on our server, not on your PC. Uninstalling removes the program and its startup entry and keeps your settings folder, in case you come back; delete it yourself if you want it gone.
  • Streaming uses FFmpeg as a separate program. The app downloads the unmodified gyan.dev full build of FFmpeg 8.1.1 (GPLv3) once, from this site. Its source code: FFmpeg on GitHub. The stream studio itself is SPKR's own code (no OBS code inside); it only hands FFmpeg the finished picture and sound.
  • Noise suppression is RNNoise. RNNoise by Xiph.Org (BSD licence) is built from its source into the app; its licence is in Settings, LEGAL.
  • CPU temperature is optional and uses AMD's driver. Enabling it in Settings shows AMD's Ryzen Master Monitoring SDK licence, asks for admin once, puts the helper into C:\ProgramData\SPKR\SPKRHQ\helper (only administrators can change it) and registers AMD's signed kernel driver (service AMDRyzenMasterDriverV32) from C:\ProgramData\SPKR\X3D Pinner\driver. Uninstalling removes them again. Nothing else in the app needs admin.
WindowsWindows 11. The app is self-contained, no .NET install needed. Microsoft's WebView2 is part of Windows 11.
TALKIE and streamingA free account on hq.sp3akr.com, and a microphone if you want to talk. Streaming on the graphics card needs an NVIDIA card (AMD is untested); CPU encoding works with any card.
Pinning gamesA two-die AMD Ryzen X3D (7950X3D, 7900X3D, 9950X3D, 9900X3D). A two-die Ryzen without 3D V-Cache (5900X, 5950X, 7900X, 7950X, 9900X, 9950X) keeps games on the first die. On a single-die X3D such as the 9800X3D or 7800X3D every core already has the V-Cache, so there is nothing to pin: the app says so and hides the switches.
RightsRuns as a normal user. Games that run as administrator cannot be pinned by it. The optional CPU temperature helper is the one exception: it runs elevated at sign-in, from a folder only administrators can change.
SteamOptional. With Steam installed you get the library picker, the artwork and your play time.

What's new

Version history

All earlier versions
  • 1.37.0 · 2026-09-21 · Settings has a menu now, one page per app: TALKIE, DISCORD, X3DGAMES, STREAM and SPKR HQ. Mute and deafen are set apart for Talkie and for Discord, so one key no longer does both. And SPKR HQ keeps its data in its own folder now, %LOCALAPPDATA%\SPKR\SPKRHQ: the first start of this version moves it there from the old X3D Pinner folder by itself, with your settings, games, studio and sign-ins, and leaves a link at the old place.
  • 1.36.0 · 2026-09-21 · The streaming site is now SPKR HQ at hq.sp3akr.com, with a new logo. The app, the Stream tab and TALKIE move there by themselves; your sign-in stays. The old address strm.sp3akr.com keeps working for a while, so apps that have not updated yet go on as before.
  • 1.35.0 · 2026-09-21 · Accounts with email. A new account on the streaming site is made with your email address and confirmed by a link in your mail; you can sign in with your email or your username, on the site, in the Stream tab and in TALKIE. Forgot your password? A reset link comes by mail. TALKIE now has its own sign-in screen when you are signed out, with Create an account and Forgot your password? links, instead of sending you to the Stream tab.
  • 1.34.0 · 2026-09-21 · Your own keys for Discord. The browser version of Discord has no custom keybinds, so SPKR HQ now has them in Settings, DISCORD: answer or decline a call, next or previous channel, server or unread channel, the quick switcher, mark a server read, your inbox, or bring DISCORD up. They work everywhere, also inside a game, and press Discord's own shortcut for the action. New too: SPKR HQ's own looks for Discord (SPKR night, Midnight purple, Carbon, Deep ocean, Ember), only on your screen. And Nitro, Server Boost, Subscriptions, Gift Inventory, Billing and the Unlock with Nitro buttons are hidden in Discord's settings.
  • 1.33.0 · 2026-09-21 · You no longer miss a message. Talkie and Discord messages, friend requests, invitations and mentions now reach you wherever you are: with SPKR HQ in front, a card shows at the bottom right (a click opens that conversation); behind a game or minimised, a Windows pop-up comes and the taskbar button flashes until you look; in the tray, the pop-up. Direct messages always reach you, also when Discord is set to Do Not Disturb. The TALKIE and DISCORD buttons in the top bar show a red number for what is new, and the taskbar button and the tray icon get a red dot while something is unread. Talkie also tells you about a message in a conversation that is open while you are in a game. The DISCORD page lost its strip at the top; the Talkie servers button is in Settings now.
  • 1.32.0 · 2026-09-21 · Discord without Discord's app. The DISCORD tab now starts quietly with SPKR HQ (once you have opened it on this PC; one switch in Settings), so messages, pop-ups and calls come in without opening it, and you can uninstall Discord's own app. It hides the download banner, Nitro, Shop, Quests, the Download apps button and the gift button, and drops Discord's promotion pop-ups. A dot on the DISCORD button shows unread messages. Your mute and deafen shortcuts now also work in a Discord call, inside a game too, and there is a new push-to-talk shortcut for Discord (set Discord's own push to talk to the same key once). What is hidden is kept on sp3akr.com, so it can be fixed without an update when Discord changes its page.
  • 1.31.0 · 2026-09-21 · DISCORD inside SPKR HQ. The new DISCORD tab is Discord's own web app, not a modified client: you sign in on Discord's page (email, QR code or passkey) and SPKR HQ never sees it. It stays open behind the other pages, so a Discord call keeps going while you stream or look at your games. During a call it stands next to the Stream page like TALKIE does (a pin button keeps it there; TALKIE | DISCORD on top when you are in both), the studio gets a Discord voice slider (muted until you turn it up), and Discord's messages become SPKR HQ pop-ups while you are not looking at Discord (one switch in Settings turns them off). The self-update also waits until a Discord call has ended. Your Discord servers in TALKIE's server rail are built in and switch on in a later update, once SPKR HQ is registered with Discord.
  • 1.30.0 · 2026-09-21 · Web overlays, alerts and chat in the stream studio. Add any web page as a layer with the + button: the alert box or widget link from StreamElements or Streamlabs, or an HTML file of your own. It stays see-through where the page has no background, and its sound gets an Overlay sound slider. New: SPKR alerts for your Twitch channel, no other account needed. Follows, subs, gifted subs (grouped: "Name gifted 5 subs"), resubs with their message, bits and raids, each with its own text, picture or GIF, sound, time and entrance, and a Test button to see it without anyone following. And your Twitch chat on stream, with name colours and emotes; commands and bots are left out, and lines a moderator deletes disappear. The Talkie voice slider now hears only Talkie.
  • 1.29.0 · 2026-09-21 · Webcam and video files in the stream studio. Add your webcam with the + button: it picks the best picture (1080p or 720p, up to 60 fps), sits bottom right with round corners and mirrored, and the camera is only on while its scene is live (it goes off 10 seconds after). Add a video file (MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, decoded by the graphics card) as a looping background or an intro: it plays with its own sound slider in the mixer, can start from the beginning every time its scene goes live, and when an intro ends it can switch to your next scene by itself. New for every layer (right-click it, Frame and green screen): round corners, a circle, a border in any colour, mirror, and a green screen that makes the background see-through with similarity, smoothness and spill sliders.
  • 1.28.0 · 2026-09-21 · Sound effects for your stream. Every sound channel on the Stream page (microphone, game or PC, Talkie voice) has an effects button: noise suppression with RNNoise, the open-source noise remover OBS also uses (fans, keyboard clicks and room noise out of your voice, with an amount slider), a noise gate (threshold, hold and release, with its line on the input meter), an equalizer (a low cut against rumble, plus bass, mid and treble), a compressor that evens out loud and quiet speech, and a limiter. Presets: Voice (clear), Voice (noisy room) and Off, which you can adjust afterwards; the microphone starts on Voice (clear). In and out meters show what the effects do. Also new: while you are in a Talkie voice room, the Stream page shows your server's rooms in a column on the left, with who is in them and your mute, deafen and leave buttons (click a voice room to switch, the arrow folds the column away). Twitch and YouTube always encode on the graphics card, and the Go live panel says which encoder.
  • 1.27.0 · 2026-09-21 · Go live to Twitch or YouTube from the Stream page. Twitch: press Connect Twitch, type the code SPKR HQ shows at twitch.tv/activate, done: the app fetches your stream key itself, sets the stream title and the category (the game you are playing) and sends to Twitch's nearest server (1080p60, H.264, 6 Mb/s). YouTube: paste your stream key from YouTube Studio once; the stream goes out in AV1 on graphics cards that have it (RTX 40), otherwise HEVC or H.264, at up to 1440p60 and 12 Mb/s. One destination per stream; the top bar says where you are live. Your Twitch sign-in and YouTube key are stored encrypted by Windows and never shown again.
  • 1.26.1 · 2026-09-21 · Fixed: the + menu for adding a source (and the tooltips of the small buttons on the Stream page) showed boxes instead of words.
  • 1.26.0 · 2026-09-21 · The Stream page is now a stream studio, like OBS but inside SPKR HQ. Scenes you switch between with a fade or a cut (Gameplay, Starting soon and Be right back are made for you), layers you drag, resize and crop right on the picture (corners keep the shape, Alt + a side crops, it snaps to the edges and the middle), and sources: the running game (found by itself, no title bar, nothing injected into the game), a whole monitor, any window, pictures and text. A sound mixer with meters for the game or the whole PC, your microphone (with Talkie's noise gate) and Talkie voice (muted until you want it on stream). Go live to sp3akr.com or a Talkie voice room as before; the studio runs as its own program on the die your games do not use, and picture and sound are measured to be in step. Webcam, video files, HTML overlays with follow alerts, and Twitch and YouTube come next. Also: the CPU temperature helper no longer asks the motherboard BIOS for data it does not need (that call could hang until Windows restarted).
  • 1.25.2 · 2026-09-21 · Game covers are no longer cut off: every picture is shown whole (wide Steam headers, tall box art, your own), with a soft blurred copy of itself filling the rest of the card. The cards are a bit more compact and the cover on the game details page is wide as well.
  • 1.25.1 · 2026-09-21 · The bar reads TALKIE, GAMESX3D, Stream, CPU Info. Stream, CPU Info, Check-up and Settings all open as a card over the app, and a click next to the card closes it. In TALKIE the Friends view keeps the list on the right: which friends are online, and what they are playing.
  • 1.25.0 · 2026-09-20 · Every game card and its detail page now show how long you have played it. For a Steam game the hours come from Steam itself (the same number the library shows, read from the file on this PC - no account, no key), and for everything else the app counts the time the game runs. Next to it stands when you last played.
  • 1.24.0 · 2026-09-20 · Updates install themselves again, without any installer window: the app fetches a new version shortly after it starts and every five minutes, says in a short notice that it is updating, closes for a few seconds and opens on the same page. While you stream or sit in a voice room it waits, and the Install update button in the bar puts it in the moment you want. New in TALKIE: a picture of your own instead of your letters (right-click your name at the bottom left: My picture). The CPU temperature helper no longer hangs silently when AMD's driver stops answering: it says so, and Settings has a Repair button that takes the driver service apart and sets it up again.
  • 1.23.2 · 2026-09-20 · Fix, for real this time: the buttons in the top bar can be clicked. They now live inside the title bar itself instead of being laid over it, which is what Windows needs. The check in the build asks Windows what sits under each button and refuses to pack the app when the answer is 'the caption' - the mistake that shipped twice.
  • 1.23.1 · 2026-09-20 · Fix: the buttons in the top bar did nothing. The bar sits in the window's title area, and Windows only passes a click to a button there when it is marked for it - that mark was missing, so every click counted as dragging the window. The bar is also flat and dark now with a menu button on the left, like the design. Every build from now on presses all the buttons of the bar and refuses to pack the app when one of them does not work.
  • 1.23.0 · 2026-09-20 · GAMESX3D looks like the design: wide cover art that fills the card (Steam's own header picture instead of the tall box art, fetched again for games that still had the old one), plain group headings with a chevron, a tighter toolbar with View, the filter pills and the search, and the V-Cache switch on the right of each card.
  • 1.22.1 · 2026-09-20 · The app looks for a new version every five minutes now (and when you open its window), so the Install update button appears while you are using it instead of hours later. One small file from sp3akr.com per look.
  • 1.22.0 · 2026-09-20 · One glass bar across the top with the pages (TALKIE, Stream, GAMESX3D, CPU Info) on the left and the state of your PC on the right. Stream and CPU info open as a card over the app, the way Add game and Scan already did, so TALKIE and your voice room stay as they are behind them. While you stream, a red pill in that bar says where it goes and how long it has been running, with a Stop button next to it - for a stream to the site and for one into a voice room. The app's own question boxes replace the grey Windows ones, and the installer got the app's look.
  • 1.21.1 · 2026-09-20 · The app looks for a new version every two hours and whenever you open its window, instead of once a day: with the Install update button, waiting a day for a version published in the afternoon made no sense. Settings, Check now still asks straight away.
  • 1.21.0 · 2026-09-20 · GAMESX3D finds proper pictures for your games: from Steam for a Steam game, from the Steam or Epic store page for a game you own somewhere else, and from the game's own folder for an Xbox game. Right-click a game for "Choose a picture" (your own png or jpg) or "Find a picture online". The scanner picks the game's exe itself instead of asking: it looks at the name of the game, at what sits next to the exe (Steam and engine files) and leaves servers, editors and crash helpers alone - the list shows which exe it took and lets you change it. Add game and Scan are no longer separate windows: they open as a panel inside the app, in the app's own colours.
  • 1.20.0 · 2026-09-20 · The top bar now shows the game that is running with the CPU and GPU temperature, and an Install update button appears when a new version has already been downloaded: pressing it takes a few seconds and the app comes back on the page you were on. Settings and Check-up open in a window of their own, so TALKIE (and your voice room) stays as it is behind them. The Stream page says in plain words what it is for: the public stream to strm.sp3akr.com, while streaming for friends only happens in a voice room. New in TALKIE for everybody: emoji in the chat and in direct messages, the game somebody is playing under their name in the member list with a LIVE mark when they stream, rooms you can limit to a few people (right-click a room: Who can see this room), and the owner can drag somebody from the member list onto another voice room - their stream moves along with them.
  • 1.19.0 · 2026-09-20 · Studio Glass overhaul for the desktop app: horizontal Top Navigation Bar across the header (TALKIE, Stream, GAMESX3D, CPU Info, Live/Voice status pill, telemetry status, Check-up, Settings), freeing 100% of the screen width for games. GAMESX3D tab now auto-groups games by launcher (Steam, Epic Games, Xbox, Standalone) and separates productivity Applications (Blender, Discord, OBS, etc.). Cloud-save aware game launching (Steam and Epic Cloud save synchronization). Corner launcher badges on cover art tiles. Frosted glass hover overlay with Start (emerald) and Details (violet) buttons. Toolbar with View Mode selector, Filter capsule pills with live item counts, dynamic thumbnail zoom slider (160px–260px), and instant search.
  • 1.18.8 · 2026-09-20 · Installer fix: elevated background hardware sensor helper process could keep DLL files locked in memory during an in-place upgrade; setup now forcefully signals and terminates the scheduled task before writing files, then cleanly restarts it.
  • 1.18.7 · 2026-09-20 · Fix: video playback in TALKIE voice rooms could stall on "Waiting for picture..." when switching between live rooms.
  • 1.18.6 · 2026-09-20 · Option A Studio Glass transformation: lighter frosted glass panels, glowing channel/user cards, and icon floating media dock.
  • 1.18.5 · 2026-09-20 · Option 1 Studio Glass floating island layout with floating media capsule controls.
  • 1.18.4 · 2026-09-20 · Studio Glass visual redesign: modern frosted glass theme, electric violet and cyan accents, floating media capsule controls.
  • 1.18.3 · 2026-09-20 · TALKIE is the default page; Go live button has a menu (start straight away with last settings or change settings) with capture choice (running game or screen).
  • 1.18.2 · 2026-09-20 · Settings, STARTUP: a second switch "Open the window too". With it on, the app opens its window when Windows starts instead of only sitting in the tray (games are pinned either way). Off by default, and a silent update that restarts the app never takes the screen.
  • 1.18.1 · 2026-09-20 · The buttons on the left are in a new order: TALKIE, Stream, GAMESX3D, CPU info at the top; Check-up and Settings at the bottom. "Add game" and "Scan" moved to the bottom left and only show while the games page is open, because that is where they belong.
  • 1.18.0 · 2026-09-20 · The app has a new name: SPKR HQ. It stopped being only a tool that pins games a while ago: it is where we talk, chat and show each other the game. Nothing else changes: it updates itself as always, your games, settings, sign-in, friends and servers stay, and the shortcut in the Start menu is renamed. New logo.
  • 1.17.2 · 2026-09-20 · Fix: since 1.15.0 streams from the app could be silent: the new way of taking the PC's sound without the TALKIE voice chat failed inside the app (it worked in the test tool). Streams have their game sound again, still without the voice chat. If your app is on 1.17.0 and no longer opens, install this one by hand.
  • 1.17.1 · 2026-09-20 · Fix: 1.17.0 did not start at all (it closed at once). If your app no longer opens, download and run this installer by hand: an app that cannot start cannot update itself. Sorry.
  • 1.17.0 · 2026-09-20 · Two kinds of streaming, clearly apart. The Stream tab is the public stream: everybody can watch it on strm.sp3akr.com, and in TALKIE under "Live Public". The red Go live button in TALKIE streams into the voice room you are connected to: only the people connected to that voice room can watch, nothing goes to the website, and the stream ends when you leave the room. Everybody in the server sees a LIVE mark next to your name; one click on it joins the voice room to watch. Several people can stream in one room (one big picture, click to switch, your own stream small in the corner or hidden). You can have several Talkie servers of your own now (the + button: make a new server or join one).
  • 1.16.0 · 2026-09-20 · TALKIE gets friends and direct messages. The speech-bubble button at the top of the server list opens "Friends": find people who use the app by name, add them as friends, and write each other directly. A friend request, a message or an invitation shows as a card inside Talkie and, while you are not looking at Talkie, as a Windows pop-up (can be switched off in Settings). Inviting somebody to your server is now a right-click: "Invite to my server" on a friend, a search result or a member; they press Accept or Decline and the server is added for them. Right-click anybody in a server to add them as a friend or message them.
  • 1.15.0 · 2026-09-20 · Streams no longer carry your TALKIE voice chat: the stream gets the sound of the PC without the app's own sound, so viewers hear the game, and a friend in your voice room who watches your stream does not hear their own voice a second later. It is a tick box next to "Send the sound of this PC" (untick it if viewers should hear your voice chat); needs Windows 10 version 2004 or later, older Windows streams the whole PC as before. Co-streaming next to somebody who streams privately now works: private streams show in the "Where" list with a lock, and your picture is then private as well.
  • 1.14.0 · 2026-09-20 · The sidebar can be made narrow: the button with the three lines at the top left switches between names and icons only, so a page like TALKIE gets more room (hover over an icon for its name). New in TALKIE, on the server side for every version: a noise gate with a threshold you set on a live microphone meter (the microphone only opens when it gets louder than your line), a short chime when somebody joins or leaves your voice room, and one-click mute plus a shorter volume slider in the player for private streams.
  • 1.13.1 · 2026-09-20 · Fix: in TALKIE voice rooms nobody could hear anybody. You were connected and the green ring showed who was talking, but the voices were never sent to your speakers. That is fixed on the server side for every version; this update also makes sure the sound can never wait for a click. Pictures in chat (button, drag and drop, paste) and your own picture as server icon arrived on the server side as well.
  • 1.13.0 · 2026-09-19 · Private streams. When you go live you choose who can watch: Public (on strm.sp3akr.com and inside the app) or Private. A private stream does not exist on the website: it is not in the list, your channel page says you are offline, and the site cannot hand out a way in. Only people signed in inside the app see it, under TALKIE, Live, with a lock on the tile, and watch it there. The banner shows "LIVE (private)". Co-streaming into a private stream and chat next to a private stream are not there yet.
  • 1.12.0 · 2026-09-19 · TALKIE: a red "Go live" button at the top right opens the streaming panel over Talkie, so you can start a stream on your own channel or co-stream next to someone who is live without leaving Talkie or your voice room. The co-stream button of a stream you watch under "Live" opens the same panel with that channel already chosen. All live streams now sit under one "Live" button above the rooms.
  • 1.11.0 · 2026-09-19 · TALKIE: a voice room now shows who is live on strm.sp3akr.com, like the site's start page; click a stream to watch it right there, with its chat and co-stream button (co-stream opens the Stream tab of the app). Right-click your own name for Mute, Deafen, Microphone and sound, and Leave voice. New under Settings: TALKIE SHORTCUTS, keys for mute and deafen that work everywhere, also inside a game (you hear a short tone). Who is in a voice room stands under the room on the left.
  • 1.10.1 · 2026-09-19 · Fix: TALKIE could not use the microphone ("Permission denied", and only "Windows default" in the device lists). The app refused its own page the microphone by mistake; it now allows it for the Talkie page, and only for that page.
  • 1.10.0 · 2026-09-19 · TALKIE voice rooms work. Open a voice room and press "Join voice": you see who is inside under the room, a green ring shows who is talking, and you can mute, deafen and leave from the bar at the bottom left, also while you look at other rooms or other pages of the app. Under the gear button you pick your microphone and your speakers or headset, test the microphone, and switch noise removal, echo cancelling and automatic volume on or off. Right-click somebody in a voice room to make just that person louder or quieter for you. The owner can set a voice room to high quality (96 or 128 kb/s). The banner at the top of the app shows the room you are connected to, and an app update waits until you have left the voice room. Voice goes through our own server only and is never recorded. Still to come: push-to-talk with a key that works inside games, and stronger noise removal.
  • 1.9.0 · 2026-09-19 · TALKIE gets its rooms and chat. Everybody has a personal Talkie server: press "Add room" and choose a chat room or a voice room, rename rooms and give them an icon with a right-click, and write in the chat rooms (new messages show green, and a green dot on the TALKIE button tells you somebody wrote while you were elsewhere in the app). Invite friends with a code or a link: invites only work inside the app, for people signed in with their strm.sp3akr.com account, and the person always presses Join themselves. The member list shows who is online; the owner can remove or ban people. Voice rooms can be made already, talking in them comes with the next update.
  • 1.8.0 · 2026-09-19 · New layout: the buttons moved to a rail on the left (Add game, Scan, GAMESX3D, Stream, TALKIE; CPU info, Check-up and Settings at the bottom), the page that is showing is lit, and a banner at the top says when you are live and for how long. First step of TALKIE, the voice rooms and chats that are being built into the app: the TALKIE button opens its page inside the app and signs you in with your strm.sp3akr.com account without showing a password or key to that page. Rooms, chat, invites and voice follow in the next updates.
  • 1.7.1 · 2026-09-19 · Co-streaming from the app. The Stream tab has a new "Where" list: your own channel, or next to anyone who is live on strm.sp3akr.com right now. Your picture then appears as an extra tile on their page, encoded on your graphics card like any other stream from the app (a room takes four streams at most). The co-stream button on the site can also hand over to the app: it opens the Stream tab with that channel selected, and going live stays your click in the app.
  • 1.7.0 · 2026-09-19 · Check-up: new group "Drivers and BIOS". It shows the installed graphics driver, AMD chipset software and BIOS, and says when a newer NVIDIA or Radeon driver or a newer BIOS (boards on the list) is out; the button opens the maker's own page, nothing is downloaded or installed by the app. The version list is one small file on sp3akr.com refreshed once a day, so the app never contacts the makers; one tick switches it off, the dot for it is amber instead of red. New "Clean reinstall guide": a checklist for a damaged graphics driver (download first, restore point, the maker's clean install, DDU by hand only if crashes return, what to check when it is not the driver), with a red warning when the PC only allows Windows Hello sign-in, because that does not work in Safe Mode.
  • 1.6.1 · 2026-09-19 · Two-die Ryzen processors without 3D V-Cache (5900X, 5950X, 7900X, 7950X, 9900X, 9950X) now get the same treatment as an X3D: games are pinned to one die (CCD0) by default, which removes the latency of hopping between the dies; the switch on each game gives it all cores again. Check-up: the graphics-driver-crash item has a Clear button (the alarm and the red dot stop until Windows logs a new crash), shows the actual entries from Windows' log, and opens Event Viewer.
  • 1.6.0 · 2026-09-19 · New Check-up page. It checks 13 things that really matter for games (each with the source it is based on), offers Fix + Undo for the safe ones (Game Mode, GPU scheduling, power plan on two-die X3D, removing harmful boot timer tweaks) and only explains the rest (Memory Integrity is never touched). Runs when you open the page; an optional small dot on the button is the only notice, and every item can be ignored. Works on any processor; the AMD two-die items only show on those chips.
  • 1.5.5 · 2026-09-19 · Streaming with an AMD graphics card: the AMD encoder is offered when no NVIDIA card is found, but it has not been run on a real Radeon yet. If it (or the NVIDIA encoder) cannot start, the app now shows the actual cause instead of FFmpeg's closing lines, does not retry in vain, and points to CPU encoding, which works with any card.
  • 1.5.4 · 2026-09-19 · Single-die X3D processors (9800X3D, 7800X3D, 5800X3D and the like) are now understood instead of treated as a fault: the app says that every core has 3D V-Cache and nothing needs pinning, hides the pin switches, and no longer reports the game as being on the wrong die or stuck at "pinning". In CPU streaming mode the default is the upper half of the cores, and a core choice saved on another processor no longer leaves the list empty. New logo in the app.
  • 1.5.3 · 2026-09-19 · Updates no longer wait for the game to close. The pin belongs to the game process, so the game stays on the V-Cache die while the app restarts in the tray (about ten seconds). Only a live stream still holds an update back, and it goes in right after the stream ends.
  • 1.5.2 · 2026-09-19 · Stream tab: a Bitrate list next to the quality. Automatic keeps what the quality asks for (8000 kb/s at 1440p60, 6000 at 1080p60); or pick 6000, 8000 or 10000 kb/s yourself. Measured at 1440p60 with NVENC: 10000 kb/s holds 60 fps with no dropped frames. Higher looks better in fast scenes, but every viewer needs the download speed for it.
  • 1.5.1 · 2026-09-18 · Installer fix: running setup by hand while the app sat in the tray stopped at "DeleteFile failed; code 5" (closing the window only hides the app, so Windows could not close it). Setup now closes the app itself, ending a running stream properly first, and the app understands --exit. The CPU temperature helper no longer gives up when AMD's driver is not ready in the first seconds after an update.
  • 1.5.0 · 2026-09-18 · Stream tab: new capture choice "Game window only". It sends just the window of the pinned game that is running (Windows Graphics Capture, no yellow border), so an alt-tab, other windows and notifications on your desktop stay private. Smaller quality presets are scaled on the GPU in this mode.
  • 1.4.2 · 2026-09-18 · Streaming to strm.sp3akr.com works end to end (WebRTC ingest): fixed the crash a few seconds into a stream ("Error muxing a packet", a too small network buffer for 1440p keyframes), fixed sound stopping after the first second, the connection is retried automatically when the first handshake fails, and the live card shows the bitrate.
  • 1.4.1 · 2026-09-18 · Installer fix: with the CPU temperature helper running, setup stopped at "DeleteFile failed; code 5" on clrjit.dll, and silent updates could not install. Setup now asks the helper to exit first and starts it again afterwards.
  • 1.4.0 · 2026-09-18 · New Stream tab: go live on strm.sp3akr.com from the app. The screen is grabbed on the GPU and encoded by NVENC (up to 1440p60 at 8000 kb/s, next to no CPU), with the sound of the PC; or on the CPU with x264 locked to the cores you tick, so the game keeps the V-Cache die. The game name follows the pinned game that is running. Uses FFmpeg as a separate program (downloaded once if you do not have it).
  • 1.3.1 · 2026-09-13 · Settings and CPU info pages scroll, so the CPU temperature card is reachable at any window size.
  • 1.3.0 · 2026-09-13 · CPU temperature now comes from AMD's Ryzen Master Monitoring SDK and AMD's signed driver, bundled with the app: no PawnIO or other third-party driver to install. Package power, power limit and per-core temperature and clock are recorded as well. AMD's licence is shown once before the helper is enabled; uninstalling removes the driver service.
  • 1.2.0 · 2026-09-13 · GPU load, temperature, power, clocks and VRAM (NVIDIA, no admin) and the live clock of each die on the game page and CPU info; optional CPU temperature through an elevated sensor helper (LibreHardwareMonitor + PawnIO driver), switched on in Settings.
  • 1.1.1 · 2026-09-13 · Scanner names games found through Ubisoft correctly and skips launchers; first release delivered through the built-in updater.
  • 1.1.0 · 2026-09-13 · Game scanner (Steam, Epic, Xbox, Ubisoft, EA, Rockstar, folders) at startup and on demand; silent auto-update with SHA-256 verification; pin loop now re-checks every second.
  • 1.0.0 · 2026-09-13 · First release. Pinning engine, games page, add-game dialog, telemetry page, CPU info, settings, tray, installer.

The newest version is also published at dl/latest.yml.

Beta

SPKR HQ Beta 2.5.20-beta.1

Try what comes next before everyone else. New in the beta: Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting. Your graphics card makes every quality of your stream itself and sends them all at once, up to 1440p in HEVC for Twitch Affiliates and Partners, so viewers get a sharper picture than Twitch's own conversion gives. Switch it on in Stream settings, Twitch (NVIDIA graphics card needed).

A test version: things can break. It installs next to SPKR HQ, with its own settings, and never changes the normal app. On its first start it offers to copy your SPKR HQ settings. Remove it any time under Apps in Windows Settings.
